Each Maue’s Workshop purchase comes wrapped in a flour sack dishtowel and includes a 2 oz tin of board butter with cutting board care instructions. Below are some tips and tricks to keeping your wood products in the best shape possible!

• Manual wash with mild soap and warm water after use.

• Towel dry and stand upright on edge when not in use. **This is very important to avoid wood warping. DO NOT STORE LAYING FLAT.

• NO soaking, abrasive sponges, detergents or scouring pads should be used!

• Do NOT put in dishwasher.

• You can apply the board butter, if it seems dry. 2 oz and 4 oz are available to purchase if you need more. Just let board butter dry on surface and then buff with soft cloth.

• With time and use, the board may show signs of wear. Contact us to arrange a free refinishing.
